Where: Co-LAB's Make Space (above the shop: 123 Gloucester Road, Bristol, BS7 8AX)
Developing your printmaking skills through experimentation.
Take part in this fun and experimental, six-week course, that will develop your understanding of a variety of printmaking techniques. 
Some of the processes you will explore, include reduction printing, mixing colour, chine collé, registration, editioning prints, using a table top press vs hand burnishing.
You will gain experience and explore your visual ideas through these expressive, creative, hands-on sessions, completing a different mini-project each week. Learn effective printmaking techniques that you can do at home without the need of fancy equipment.
A relaxed and friendly environment that welcomes everyone, but specifically supports intermediate printmakers, who wish to develop their skills.
All materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own if inspired. 
Week 1: First layer lino reduction print.
Week 2: Second layer lino reduction print.
Week 3: Exploring colour and editioning prints.
Week 4: Chine collé with Lino.
Week 5: Repeat pattern printing, creating stationary.
Week 6: Mixed media, creative printing.
Tutor: Zelda Velika
Zelda has experience running volunteer art workshops, lino printing workshops, and teaching English to students of all ages. Her workshops are designed to be challenging, and creative. By letting your inner artist come to the front to let you leave the session feeling accomplished and on a high. 
She is a printmaker, who has exhibited her work around the world. Her work is inspired by life and experiences, sometimes sweet and sometimes scary! She believes that growth and development can be achieved through expression in print.
